Issues in Education- This subject explains the complex problems faced in the education sector and the importance of good education. The focus is on the teaching profession, diversity, management of the classroom, writing etc.
Foundations of Library and Information Science- Library services and programs are designed and the subject focuses on good customer service. Use of information science is included.
Library Programs and Services- Students will explore various library services and create positive environments for learning. Methods of communicating are improved and legal and ethical practices are addressed.
Reference and Research-Skills and knowledge needed for research are enhanced along with the training of finding reference tools and materials. The role of teaching and information literacy is introduced along with how information is provided.
Educational Technology- The use of technology in the study is taught. Concepts such as E-Learning, Virtual Classrooms, Multimedia, etc are highlighted. It talks about the use of social media for learning purposes and using various tools.
Literature and related media- Students will learn about the literature, practices and theories related to kids and adult learning. Different genres of literature and trends are introduced.
Information Ethics and Literacy- This gives a hands-on experience in accessing information and evaluates resources. It also teaches good practices and ethical measures used in the profession.
