Emergency management which is also termed as the disaster management covers the precaution, prevention and protection process in case of an emergency. Its main objective is the management and allocation of resources and responsibilities for dealing with all the humanitarian aspects of emergencies. This course covers the 4 phases of emergency management that are: mitigation, preparedness/attentiveness, response, and lasting recovery.
