The gifted endorsement is the field of study that is concerned with increasing the level of knowledge, and expertise of the educators working with the students and people who are gifted. This course is designed to prepare educators with knowledge, methods, and techniques to be able to work with the gifted students with more expertise.
The gifted endorsement course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills to work with the gifted students or people. The subjects covered under gifted endorsement course are nature and needs of gifted students, instructional strategies for teaching gifted students, guidance, and counseling for gifted students, education of the special population of gifted children, theory and development of creativity.
A Post bachelorette certificate requires 15-20 credits. This program provides knowledge about how to work with the gifted students and how to teach them.
A Master’s degree requires 30-40 credits and takes 2 years to be completed. This program provides the fundamental as well as in-depth knowledge about the field of study.
The minimum required GPA to apply for admission in the gifted endorsement program is 3.0 or higher.
The gifted endorsement program equips the students with the skills and knowledge required to expertly communicate, understand, control, handle, and teach the gifted people and students. This course prepares a student to work with gifted students and provide guidance.
