Hospitality management refers to the study of the hospitality as well as the tourism industry. This program covers the growth and progress of the hospitality sector. The hospitality management is concerned with how the guests in the hotels or resorts are treated and managed.
An Accredited College/University creates a pathway for the students to enrol in hotel management programs offered by the Colleges/University which are funded by the federal government or the state government.

The hospitality management course teaches the students about principles of marketing, finance, and management related to the hospitality industry, basics of hospitality, tourism sector, accommodations practice, food, and beverage organization, kitchen management, human resource management, event management.
An Associate’s degree requires 60-70 credits and takes 2 years to be completed. It provides students with the knowledge of hospitality laws, hiring practices, operations of the hospitality sector.
A Bachelor’s degree requires 120-130 credits and takes 4 years to be completed. It equips students with all the managerial skills to properly handle the hospitality as well as the tourism sector.
A Master’s degree requires 40-50 credits and takes 2 years to be completed. It aims to make the students eligible for the positions of directors, entrepreneurs, area managers by providing them with all the skills required to make decisions and controlling the operation of the hospitality sectors.
A Doctorate’s degree requires 90-95 credits and takes 3-4 years to be completed. It prepares students for the higher posts in the hospitality sector.
The minimum required GPA for admission in hospitality management is 2.75-3.00.
The hospitality management program prepares students and provides knowledge about tourism, lodging, resorts, gaming, restaurants, foodservice, and clubs. This course provides a better understanding of how to properly manage the guests.
