Logistics, in general, is the study of the management of the flow of things between the point of origin/manufacturing and the point of consumption to satisfy both the customer/consumer and the corporation. This course is designed to provide the knowledge about all modes of transportation and the routes of transportation and related topics.
An Accredited College/University creates a pathway for the students to enroll in logistics programs offered by the Colleges/University which are funded by the federal government or the state government.

The logistics program is concerned with the study of the delivery of products from supplier to customer. To understand the logistics process the subjects that are taught in this programs are supply chain strategies, international logistics, warehouse management, trade routes, global transportation, and material handling.
An Associate’s degree requires 60-90 credits and takes 2 years to be completed. This program gives the overview of logistics as well as some business topics.
A Bachelor’s degree requires 120-125 credits and takes 4 years to be completed. This program provides the student with an overall background in the areas such as business, management, and operations.
A Master’s degree requires 30-40 credits and takes 2 years to be completed. This program enhances the critical thinking ability of students regarding the logistics.
A Doctorate’s degree requires 60-90 credits and takes 3-4 years to be completed. This provides an in-depth knowledge of the logistics process.
The minimum required GPA to apply for admission in the logistics program fall between 2.8-3.00.
