Operations management refers to the administration of business practices to create the highest level of efficiency possible within an organization. It is concerned with converting materials and labour into goods and services as efficiently as possible, to maximize the profit of an organization. The course will empower you with the skills to address important aspects of business operations including capacity, productivity, quality, and supply chain.
An Accredited College/University creates a pathway for the students to enrol in operations management programs offered by the Colleges/University which are funded by the federal government or the state government.

The operations management course includes economics, accounting, hazardous materials, e-commerce, Transportation management, business management, negotiations, purchasing, forecasting, production control, industrial labour relations, cost control, materials planning, inventory management, material requirements planning, just-in-time, enterprise resource planning, scheduling and control, Supply Chain Management.
An Associate’s degree requires 60-70 credits and takes 2 years to be completed.
A Bachelor’s degree requires 120-130 credits and takes 4 years to be completed.
A Master’s degree requires 30-50 credits and takes 2 years to be completed.
A Doctorate’s degree requires 50-90 credits and takes 4-5 years to be completed.
The minimum GPA required is 2.5-3.00 to be eligible to apply for admission in operations management program.
This course introduces students to the concepts underlying effective operation and control of manufacturing and service businesses. Approaches to production control, inventory policy, facilities planning, methods improvement and technological assessment are studied. Identify and articulate how operations management contributes to the achievement of an organization’s strategic objectives.
