Public policy refers to the laws and regulations created by governmental bodies to address issues of the public good. Public policy course includes many related social science subjects such as political science, sociology, globalization, economics, and law.
An Accredited College/University creates a pathway for the students to enroll in public policy programs offered by the Colleges/University which are funded by the federal government or the state government.

The public policy program teaches the students about microeconomics, finance, research methodology, statistical and advanced data analysis, qualitative research, population techniques, policy process, policy analysis, principles/ethics, public management, urban policy, program evaluation.
An Associate’s degree requires 50-60 credits and takes 2 years to be completed.
A Bachelor’s degree requires 115-120 credits and takes 4 years to be completed.
A Master’s degree requires 30-40 credits and takes 2 years to be completed.
A Doctorate’s degree requires 60-90 credits and takes 3-6 years to be completed.
The minimum of 2.5-3.00 or higher GPA is required to apply for admission in public policy programs.
The public policy program focuses on the organized analysis of issues related to public policy and the decision processes associated with them. This includes training in the role of economic and political factors in public decision-making and policy formulation; microeconomic study of policy issues; resource distribution and decision modelling; cost/benefit analysis; statistical techniques. This course offers the students a deeper understanding of various applications to specific public policy topics.
