A Certificate program in School Counseling is required to pursue further degrees in the same field. The certificate course takes around 2 years to complete.
A Master’s Degree in school counselling requires credit points ranging from 35 to 75 and takes about two years to complete.
A Doctorate degree in school counselling requires credit points ranging from 65 to 145 and takes about five years to complete.
A student applying for a degree in school counselling should have completed a high school and have a GPA not less than 3.0 and for students to pursue a Masters in school counselling they are required to have a Bachelors Degree in counselling or psychology.
