The ACT test is taken 6 times for the first time during your first year, and scores get released in about 2-8 weeks. You are also allowed to retake the exam during the second year if you are not satisfied with your score.

The ACT includes the following sections:

  • English

  • Reading

  • Mathematics and Science.

  • Essay Writing (optional)

Few schools also ask for essays, so check before you apply.


Eligibility for ACT

As ACT is for high school students, there is no particular pre-requisite to apply.

  • People of all the age groups and grade levels are eligible

  • English fluency is a basic requirement to get the good ACT score

  • Age of student should be above 13 years

  • Grade 6, 7 and 8 students can also apply for the test

How Much Does ACT Cost?

ACT fee is $50.50, without the essay and including an essay, it costs $67.00. Few universities/colleges ask for essay writing, so check out for the colleges before you apply whether to write or skip.
