But there is another step to consider. You have a raw score to a scaled score that has to be converted. The following table will give you an idea about the ACT Scores

How to Calculate Your Math SAT Score?
You have to convert the raw scores to scaled with the help of the table. The table is used to make sure each test is “standardized”.
For Math, there is a total of 58 questions, so your raw score will be 58. If you answer only 34 questions right then your raw score will be 34 out of 58. You have to convert this math raw score to a scaled one which varies by test dates. Your scaled math section test score is 560.
It is easy to calculate math SAT score but for other sections, you have an extra step.
How to Calculate Your SAT Score Reading/Writing Section?
You have two sections: reading and writing & language. To convert these raw scores into scaled ones, check the table for reference.
If your raw score for the reading section is 45, then the scaled score is 36; writing raw score 38 then the scaled score will be 34.
Now, add both scaled test scores:
36 + 34 = 70
The final step is to multiply the sum by 10:
70 x 10 = 700
So, your overall score will be 700.
Final Step: Add all the sections scaled scores to get a final SAT score.
Once you have the scaled scoring for both the sections, then you just add them together to get a final SAT score.
560 + 700 = 1260
