California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) is a public not-for-profit institution located in Carson, California. The university was established in the year 1960. The CSUDH is a part of the California State University (CSU) system.
The institute was formerly known as the South Bay State College (1960-1962). The main motto of the university is “Vox Veritas Vita” which means “Voice, Truth, Life”. The University emphasizes on providing quality education to its students and help them to build a good future.
The mission of the university is to provide education, scholarship and service that are, by design, accessible and transformative. The university works on values and their core values are Accountability, Collaboration, Continuous learning, Rigorous Standards, Respect, Responsiveness. CSUDH has a very good environment for the students and is one of the most ethnically and economically diverse universities in the western United States.
The institution offers 46 majors in bachelor’s, 23 different master’s, a variety of single, multi-subject and specialized teaching credentials and a number of undergraduate, graduate and post-baccalaureate certificate programs within its five colleges: College of Arts and Humanities, College of Business Administration and Public Policy, College of Extended and International Education, College of Health, Human Services and Nursing, and College of Natural and Behavioral Sciences.
Currently, there are 16,732 students enrolled in different programs offered by the university. The university is holding the best and expert faculties to help and teach the students in different programs and degrees. The student-faculty ratio is 25:1.
