For Arizona School of Health Sciences

  • The applicant must have a graduate degree from a regionally accredited four-year university or college in the United States (BA or BS)
  • Students who have not studied in the US or whose 1st language is not English must submit their English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Testing Service (IELTS) scores (Acceptable scores are: 80 on Internet-based TOEFL and 6.5 overall bands in IELTS) A.T. For Doctor of Audiology

  • The applicant must have a graduate degree with a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a scale of 4.0 and the undergraduate GPA must be included in the GPA calculation if the applicant is from another country where a master’s degree is not necessary to practice.
  • Applicants must have earned a master’s or doctoral degree in audiology from a regionally accredited college or institution or the applicant must have a Master’s degree equivalency as demonstrated through state licensure in audiology or verification of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A).
  • Official college/academic transcripts must be submitted before the commencement of the program.
  • Applicants must submit official documentation of current audiology licensure, CCC-A, Board Certification in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology (ABA), or Aud-C (in Canada).
    • If licensure and/or certification are not active presently the applicants must submit the official documents of the previous licensure and/or certification.
    • If the licensure or certification agency cannot provide paper verification forms, the applicant must provide a website URL for verification of previous licensure or certification.
    • Applicants must submit the official documentation of regulatory certification or registration to practise audiology if they practice outside of the United States or Canada.
    • If the applicant’s their license, certification or registration is revoked or suspended at the time of application, they are not eligible.
  • Applicants should have at least four years of full-time employment in audiology or 5760 hours of its part-time equivalent.
  • Official profile scores from the Evaluation of Practicing Audiologists Capabilities (EPAC) must be submitted.
  • Applicants must submit a personal resume.

Two references from audiologists or healthcare professionals familiar with the applicant’s clinical and professional experience. Letters of reference must be submitted for each application year.

Since the admissions follow the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service (AACOMAS), the ATSU deadline to apply for primary AACOMAS applications is the 1st of February.

The applicants need to apply to the university before the fall of the year of anticipated enrollment.
