AMES Christian University Admissions

Admission Brief

As mentioned earlier, flaunting 75,000 students enrolled in the university, AMES Christian University takes its admission procedures seriously. The best part about this process is that you can register and join the courses any time of the year! There goes the anxiety of sticking to deadlines to apply. The university looks for learners who are highly motivated in finding out the destiny that God has chosen for them, and taking the path of theology and ministry.

The procedure for the admissions is quite simple and their university website talks extensively about the enrollment process.

Admission Process

There are two types of admission processes. We’ve detailed them below.

Undergraduate Admissions

The Undergraduate Application process requires you to provide them with your personal details, such as name, address, email id among other things. On the same page, include your choice of major, and previous educational information too.

Obtain and Submit Previous School Forms

You have to submit your transcripts for the following:

  • A complete application for Undergraduate Admission
  • Official high school transcripts indicating graduation or program completion
  • SAT I, SAT II, ACT scores for students coming from high school only
Pay the Application Fee

Once you have submitted all your transcripts, go ahead and pay the application fee of $20.

Wait for Confirmation

Once you have submitted all the required documents and paid the fee, wait while the university reviews your application, post which they will send you a degree completion plan, and voila! Now you can register for your first course.

Graduate Admissions

Just like the former application, the Graduate Application process requires you to provide them with your personal and education details. You have to choose your concentration on the same page.

Obtain and Submit Previous School Forms

For application to the Graduate Programs, you will have to submit transcripts for the following:

  • A completed application for your Graduate Admission
  • Official transcripts for all college-level work
  • Two letters of recommendation from relevant sources
  • A personal essay

There are a few things to keep in mind while applying for a graduate program, which is different from the undergraduate program.

  • Only learners who score above 3.0 GPA in the 12-credit conditional admission period will be granted full-time admission. However, if you think you have extensive life and career experience, you can apply for an Advanced Approval exception.
  • Learners who have completed an accredited and approved bachelor’s program are eligible to apply.

Pay the Application Fee

Once you have fulfilled all the criteria, and uploaded the documents to support that, pay the application fee of $20.

Wait for Confirmation

Once you have done the needful, sit and relax, as the university reviews your application, processes it, and finally sends you your Degree Completion Plan. You can then register for your first course.
