The college later got its current name in the year 1978. The university grew out of the college that was established in Yellow Springs, Ohio, and expanded its campuses. Despite being established in Yellow Springs, Ohio, the headquarter of the university is located in Culver City, California.

Antioch University Requirements for masters degree includes a bachelors degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent, A TOEFL score of 550 or higher for “paper-based" and 214 or higher for “computer-based”, an updated resume, A letter of recommendation and much more.
