Scholarships
Azusa Pacific University Scholarships are usually divided into Academic Scholarships and Participatory/Other Scholarships with regard to the eligibility criteria and availability of funds.
Academic Scholarships: They are segmented into:

Trustees’ Scholarship: A scholarship that offers the full tuition and fees to all students until the completion of their respective degree programs.

President’s Scholarship: A $21,000 scholarship reserved for freshers and transfer students.

Dean’s Scholarship: A $18,000 scholarship per year for freshers and transfer students attending APU.

Mary Hill Award: A $7,000 scholarship per year for freshers and transfer students attending APU which is renewable up to four years.
Participatory Scholarships: They are of the following types:

Math and Physics Fellowship: This is applicable for freshers attending a four-year degree program in applied mathematics, mathematics and physics where they receive an award of $3,000 per year.

Multi-Ethnic Leader Scholarship: A $5,500 scholarship per semester reserved for six incoming first-year applicants where they need to maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.2.

Nancy Moore Scholarship: A $5,000 scholarship for students with strong Christian commitment.
Grants
Federal Grants

Federal Pell Grant: The award amount generally has a range of $657 - $6,195 depending upon the fund availability, enrollment status of the candidates and expected family contribution (EFC) as mentioned in the FAFSA form.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG): Not all eligible students receive FSEOG. Only those with extreme financial conditions and are capable of maintaining an EFC of 0, are eligible for such grants.
State Grants
This is targeted to help the students who are residents of California with awards that can be applied against their program tuition costs so that they are not deprived of any academic curriculum due to unavailability of financial assistance and facilities. It consists of:

Cal Grant A: This is for students who have passed out from California high school with a GPA of 3.0. Usually, they receive an amount of $9,084.

Cal Grant B: This is targeted towards the first-year recipients with awards amounting to $1,672.
