Admissions Requirements for Graduate Professional Studies
The applicants for Graduate Professional Studies need to meet the following Admissions Requirements:

Complete and Submit an Application for admission. A non-refundable application fee of $50 is applicable. The application fees can be paid by Credit Card (online) or a Check can be sent to the Graduate Professional Studies (GPS) office.

Official Transcripts from an accredited educational institute where the Bachelor’s degree was earned. The transcripts can be sent directly to the Division of Graduation Professional Studies admissions office

Personal statement about goals.

Letter of recommendation from previous educators/employers.

English Proficiency needs to be established by Non-Native English Speakers.

If the bachelor’s degree was earned outside the United States, Credential Evaluation is required by a recognized evaluation agency like Education Credential Evaluation. Applicants are liable to pay the charges incurred.
Admissions Requirements for Heller School for Social Policy and Management
The Heller School for Social Policy and Management offers Online Executive Master of Business Administration (E-MBA). The program requirements for Executive Master of Business Administration are:

Candidates are required to complete 63 credits included in 4 modules.

There is no Master’s Thesis required to complete this degree.

There is no language requirement.
Admissions Requirements for Rabb School of Continuing Studies
Before applying, candidates are required to take up two graduate courses. A course with less than a grade B, may not be allowed to apply for a degree, in that discipline. Students are allowed to complete a maximum of 12 courses for a 10-course master’s degree and 7 courses for a 5-course graduate degree/certificate. After enrollment, full-time graduate students are allowed to audit by the Division of Graduate Professional Studies course without a fee. Auditors are not allowed to take an examination or given credits for the course. Graduate Professional Studies students can audit courses of IBS, GSAS, and Heller.
Admissions Requirements for International Students
International students are students who have previous education outside the United States or the residents of a foreign country.

Credential Evaluation of foreign transcripts is required from a recognized evaluation agency like Education Credential Evaluation. Applicants are liable to pay the charges incurred.

Official transcripts in a foreign language are required to be translated into English. This can be done by an evaluation agency. The transcripts need to be submitted in both English and Original Transcript.

English Proficiency needs to be established by Non-Native English Speakers. This can be done in one of the following ways:

Applicants from English speaking countries who have graduated from a non-English institute need to demonstrate their proficiency in English by submitting the test scores of TOEFL or IELTS. Test scores must be less than five years old.

Test Of English as a Foreign Language: Applicants must have a minimum score of 100 on the internet-based test with at least 24 in each section or 600 on the paper-based test with at least 58 on reading and writing, and 4.5 on an essay writing score.

International English Language Testing System: Applicants must have a minimum of 7.0 on academic reading and writing.

Pearson Test of English Academic: Applicants need to have a minimum score of 68 on Academic English Language Proficiency test.

Test scores such as SAT and ACT must be sent directly to the Division of Graduate Professional Studies, using the school code 0253.

Exceptions are made for students who have earned a bachelor’s degree from an American University.
