At California Coast University (CCU), you can apply online as well as through offline methods of Application. There is an application fee charge of $75 for both means of application fee.

The courses at CCU are not bound to a schedule, so you have the convenience of working with the courses as per your comfort. The projects and evaluations have no fixed dates or deadlines, Thus you can finish the courses at the pace you want to. 

However, it is mandatory to finish 1 course within 6 months in order to prove reasonable academic progress. Also, there are the minimum and maximum time limits predefined for all the various courses. The CCU provides the students with a program schedule which will help in order to achieve their educational goal. This is done by a thorough assessment of the student profile and past educational experiences. The acceptance rate at CCU is 100% as it follows an open admission policy.

California Coast University has an open admission policy and so they do not require SAT/ACT scores are mandatory as a part of admission. 

Admission Process

Following are the steps one needs to follow in order to complete their application process for CCU:

Step 1- Fill in the Application

The student needs to fill the application form by going to this link. The application form covers all the various details of the student. The remaining information is later covered by the submission of transcripts, resume, and other supportive documents for the educational and work experiences. Also, the student needs to deposit a fee of $75 by using  VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, or AMERICAN EXPRESS credit cards. 

Step 2- Submission of Transcripts, Resume and other documents

Next, a student needs to submit official as well as unofficial transcripts. They also need to submit other supporting documents for past educational and work-life experiences. The student also needs to submit a resume with the above documents. It should cover all the past educational as well as the work-life experiences of the student.

Step 3- Assessment

The admission team then carries an assessment on the basis of student profiles and past educational qualifications of the student. Based on the assessment, the admission team also suggests the optimum choice of the courses that will help you achieve your educational goals. 

Step 4- Enrollment agreement and commencement of course

An enrollment agreement and a degree plan are then sent to the student which is then signed and returned along with the required fees. After this, the student gets to join an online orientation for which the university provides the student with a link. After the completion of the above process, the student receives the first-course work.

The applications are reviewed and processed within a week if it includes all the required information. The student is then notified through phone or mail of his/her acceptance. The student is provisionally accepted if the official transcripts or other documents are yet to be received by the admission department.

The requirements for admission into CCU are not very stringent. The applicant needs to fulfill the following requirements to apply for undergraduate and graduate programs at California Coast University-

  • Resume- The student needs to submit a resume showing all the past qualifications and life experiences.

  • Transcripts-The student needs to submit an official transcript in order to get admission to CCU. However unofficial transcripts can be submitted for evaluation purposes. If there is a need to submit a soft copy of the transcripts, it should be mailed to transcripts@calcoast.edu.

  • Credits- The university also accepts any credits from CLEP, DSST, AP, etc or from work-life experiences. 

  • A non-refundable application fee of $75 is applicable.
