Christopher Newport University is a public university located in Newport News, VA. The university covers an area of 260 acres. The foundation of Christopher Newport University was laid down in the year 1960. Christopher Newport University believes in imparting education and contributing to society by focusing on innovation, research, education, and commitment. The motto of the university is Students Come First and its official colors are royal blue and gray.
