Eastern Illinois University (EIU) is a mid-sized, 4 years, a public university founded in the year 1895, headquartered at Charleston, Illinois. Eastern Illinois University has undergone a vast transformation during its first 75 years. Beginning in one building on a 40-acre campus with few students and teachers, it grew to a campus of 316 acres with 35 modern buildings valued at some $61,000,000. In fact, the curriculum is so well rehearsed that a student identifies his true calling and shines with his own potential.

The acceptance rate is kept 55% which makes it ‘an easy’ school to attend.
