Eastern Illinois University (EIU) is a mid-sized, 4 years, a public university founded in the year 1895, headquartered at Charleston, Illinois. Eastern Illinois University has undergone a vast transformation during its first 75 years. Beginning in one building on a 40-acre campus with few students and teachers, it grew to a campus of 316 acres with 35 modern buildings valued at some $61,000,000. The location is great with a positive atmosphere all over the campus. There are many stores, activities, and resources on the campus. It is also a very safe campus with a supportive student body as well as blue emergency polls that alert people in case of emergency.
It offers a wide range of majors which make sure that there is something that you will like. The majority of the faculties are well experienced and committed to helping students by giving regular feedback.
The workload is very heavy but some of them feel that as easy hence it entirely depends on your performance. It also helps to find out internship opportunities to get hands-on experience with the work environment. You will get a community where there will be a lot of people with similar interests as yours.
