Evangel University has a high acceptance rate, which currently stands at 97%. Evangel University follows a simple application and admission process that includes a total of 4 steps, which are as follows: Step 1: Submitting the application A candidate is first required to apply to the university as part of the admission procedure at Evangel University. To apply to the university, interested candidates can either call the university at (417) 865-2815 or do it through online mode to secure admission. Alternatively, they can also directly visit the university's admissions office at 1111 N Glenstone, Springfield, Missouri 65802-2125. They can contact the Evangel University admissions office by phone as well. Step 2 in the application process is acceptance by EU Once an applicant has submitted their form and deposited the enrollment fee, they would be required to submit certain documents, to receive an admission decision. For Evangel University, it is suggested that an applicant submits the following documents: Essay: Sometimes known as the personal statement, the essay submitted by an applicant offers them a unique way to showcase their achievements and personality. It is advised that applicants include personal experiences and anecdotes. Transcripts: Submitting the necessary high-school and university transcripts is an important part of the evaluation process. An applicant can use Parchment (or similar platforms) to submit the same. Official Test Scores: It is not a mandatory requirement and not all students submit their ACT and SAT scores. However, by submitting these official scores, a candidate can make a stronger claim for securing a seat at Evangel University. Once the university finishes looking into applications, additional documents or information might be requested. Step 3 involves confirmation of attendance The third step includes confirming their attendance to EU by the candidates. Additionally, they will be required to complete their Financial Check-In process and select their housing as well. Review and verification of Summary of Accounts and Financial Aid (scholarships, fees, and tuition costs), choosing a lodging option, selecting a payment plan, and making the first payment are some of the processes included in the admission at the varsity. Before proceeding to register for classes, candidates also have to complete the Math and English assessments. Step 4 includes registration for classes Once all the processes mentioned above are completed, the candidates will be required to register for courses.
Believed to help colleges interpret the applicants' overall academic performance, SAT scores weigh a lot of importance. However, since the SAT scores are not one of the mandatory factors to get admission to Evangel University, there is no particular data about the average SAT score or similar requirements to take admission to the university.
No official data about the minimum requirements concerning the ACT scores have been made publicly available by the university. However, candidates can submit their ACT scores for securing admission to Evangel University. The university doesn't put much emphasis on the same.
Grade Points Average (GPA)
3.3
Evangel University considers a high GPA as a mandatory requirement for the admission of candidates just like most other universities/colleges. Higher GPAs are often believed to improve the chances of applicants to secure admission not only to EU, but any college/university of their choice. However, data regarding the average high school GPA of the applicants who get accepted by Evangel University is not currently available. Candidates applying to Evangel University should also have a good idea about the requirements for admission, including the necessary documents, and all the information that is considered while making admission decisions. The candidates are also required to submit a number of important documents to the university along with their application. They include the Secondary school GPA and Secondary school record.

The deadline to apply to the varsity depends on various factors. The Fall applications that start in September and go on till April are the most preferred among students. Though the final deadline is in April, a September deadline has also been fixed which pertains to early decisions. In case a student wants scholarships, they will have to apply before the early deadline, which is why early application is recommended.

Many universities in the US incentivize students by helping them earn university credits by taking certain courses that are available for them in high school. Here are the names of some of such popular programs: AP Credit, CLEP (Credit for Life Experiences), and Dual Enrollment (also known as Dual Credit). As far as the policy of these credits is concerned, each university has a different one. The advantages of such programs include a shorter time to complete a degree, an increased chance of finishing a degree, and a higher GPA. Students who want to avail CLEP and AP credits can go to the website, collegeboard.org, and request to submit the scores to the university of their choice.
