Fayetteville Technical Community College, also known as Fay Tech or FTCC, is a public community college located in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Fayetteville Area Industrial Education Centre, which later became Fayetteville Tech, was established in 1961 with an intent to equip high school graduates and mature learners with educational options and job training. Following the passage of a bill which established a statewide Community College System, Fayetteville Area IEC was transformed into Fayetteville Technical College or FTI. The institution received its accredition by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges or SACSCOC in 1963. FTI became Fayetteville Technical Community College in 1963. Dr. Larry Keen is the current President of FTCC, under whose leadership the institute celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2011.
