Full Sail University was established in the year 1979 and is a private for-profit type institute. The university is situated in Dayton, Ohio and it initially started as a recording studio. Later, it moved to Central Florida in the year 1989 and since then it has been providing a real-time experience to the students with a full professional experience.

The university has spread its fields in media, entertainment, film-making, and digital media through more than 30 apartment complexes within a five-mile radius of campus, many of which are within walking distance.

Full Sail University, which is located in Winter Park, FL is a private university. Full Sail University was founded in the year 1979.
