Immaculata University provides financial assistance to the students in the form of grants, aid, scholarship etc.The Office of Financial Aid provides aid to all students with documented financial need. All students are encouraged to apply for admission regardless of financial need. All admission decisions are made without respect to the applicant’s financial need. Parents are advise to give some contribution in the student's education fees.

Grants
Grants are a type of gift or aid which do not have to repaid unlike loans which have to repaid. Grants are a need-based financial fund programs.
Federal Pell Grants
The Pell Grant is a need-based federally funded grant. The awards vary in amounts and are based upon the eligibility criteria from the processed FAFSA. This grant is awarded to either full- or part-time enrolled undergraduate students pursuing their first degree-granting program.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program(FSEOG)
This grant program is administered by the University and is awarded to undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional financial need and are enrolled at least half-time.
State Grants
States also offers grants to the student based on their financial need but in state grants only the students living in the particular state is granted the aid. For students from states other than Pennsylvania should check with their high school education office whether they are eligible or not.
Pennsylvania State Grant Program (PHEAA Grant)
The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) offers grants that vary in amount. Notification of award amount will be provided directly to the student by PHEAA. Awards are determined by PHEAA on the basis of financial need and enrollment status.
The Chaffee Education and Training Grant (ETG) Program
This program provides tuition assistance for students who enter into a service commitment with the Pennsylvania National Guard, typically for a period of six years.
Loans
There are different types of loans which are offered to the students to meet their education costs. However, the loans are needed to be repaid that too with an certain amount of interest on it.
The different types of loans offered by the university are:
A Subsidized Direct Loan is awarded on the basis of financial need. Interest does not accrue while you are enrolled at least half-time and during other specified deferment periods. Repayment begins six months after you cease to be enrolled at least half-time.
An Unsubsidized Direct Loan is not awarded on the basis of need. The principal will be deferred until six months after you cease to be enrolled at least half-time. You will be charged interest from the time the loan is disbursed until it is paid in full. You can either make the interest payment or defer it while you are in school. If you do not make interest payments while in school, the interest will be capitalized (added to the principal balance of the loan) every six months.
Federal Work-Study Program
Immaculata University offers work-study program for students who are willing to work as a full-time or part-time to earn some additional income which helps the students in bearing the adittional cost and managing the studies simultaneously. You can apply for the type of position you like.
