Scholarships

The Women in Auto Care scholarships, Inter Motor Leader Scholarship, Blue Streak Scholarship and the Bigger Better Diesel Scholarships offer an amount of $5,000 to the eligible students. These are the institutional scholarships. You may also apply for general scholarships like the Automotive Hall of Fame Scholarship amount ranges between $500 to $2,000.

Grants

Federal PELL Grants are offered on the basis of financial need. The amount will not be the same for all students as it will depend on the EFC (Expected Family Contribution) and the cost of attendance of the student. The FSEOG Grant is also a need-based grant provided by the federal government. It is provided on a first-come-first serve basis and hence keeping note of the deadline and application dates are a must. The Federal Work-Study Program provides a platform for the students where they can try to recover their expenses by on-campus or off-campus jobs. California State Grants and the California College Promise Grants are few state grants that might be of some financial assistance as well.

Loans

The Federal Direct Loans come at a low and affordable interest rate and are provided by the federal government. Repayment of these loans are compulsory after the completion of the course. LATTC also gives you an opportunity to apply for the Perkins Loans for which the interest rate remains fixed at 5%.
