NewSchool of Architecture and Design is a private, for-profit college located in downtown San Diego’s design district. The college is also associated with Laureate International Universities, which is arguably the leading contributor to design professions across the globe. NewSchool was founded by the Late Richard Welsh in 1980. NewSchool is an innovative architecture, design, and construction management that provides a wide array of degrees to students interested in the field of architecture.  The goal here is to nurture and inspire design-oriented students.
