Norwich University’s financial aid is offered based on the academic record of the students and their financial needs. For availing financial aid, the university encourages you to make an application for the scholarships or grants for both the graduate and the undergraduate degree programs.

Scholarships

  • Presidential Scholarship: This is a renewable scholarship, and the student can renew this scholarship for up to four years. To qualify, the student must maintain a GPA of 3.60. Students under this scholarship are awarded $28,000 per year up to 4 years.

  • Provost Scholarship: This is a renewable scholarship, and the student can renew this scholarship for up to four years. To qualify, the student must maintain a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59. Students under this scholarship are awarded $26,000 per year up to 4 years.

  • Trustee Scholarship:  This is a renewable scholarship, and the student can renew this scholarship for up to four years. To qualify, the student must maintain a GPA of 3.00 to 3.39.tudents under this scholarship are awarded $25,000 per year up to 4 years.

  • Dean’s Scholarship:  This is a renewable scholarship, and the student can renew this scholarship for up to four years. To qualify, the student must maintain a GPA of 2.55 to 2.99. Students under this scholarship are awarded $24,000 per year up to 4 years.

  • Future Leader Camp: This scholarship offers the amount of $2,000 per year, the student can avail the benefit of this scholarship up to 4 years with the total amount of $8,000 which will be used in paying the tuition of Norwich University. To qualify students who attended the Future Leader Camp or FLC at Norwich University during summer as the junior of second-year students they may be eligible for this scholarship.

Online Scholarships

  • Achievement Scholarship: This scholarship offered to the students who sign up for the online master’s programs at Norwich University. To qualify students meets the eligibility criterion set by the program team. Under this scholarship, the student receives an award of $4,200.

  • Alumni Scholarship:  This scholarship is offered to Norwich University alumni and their spouses, parents, and children for attending any of Norwich's online master's degrees and graduate-level certificates. Under this scholarship, students are awarded $425 per term for each term of enrollment.

  • NU Merit Scholarship: This scholarship offers the amount of $7,500 to the eligible undergraduate students. To qualify, students must meet all the eligibility criteria set by the program office, and the student must use the award amount within three years.

Grants

  • Federal Pell Grants: This grant is available to students who are attending university for first-time and receiving their first bachelor’s degree to the students who demonstrate financial need. The funds are awarded based on Expected Family Contribution on the FAFSA and your current enrollment status.

  • Federal Work-Study: Under this financial aid program, Norwich University encourages the student to work part-time along with the degree program. Norwich University provides bi-weekly paycheck to the student who works on-campus.
