Pace University received a total of 21,520 applications. The school was far more popular among women, with a ratio of 2.15 women applying for every man.

Of those applicants, Pace accepted 16,327 students, for an acceptance rate of 76%. Just 2,013 chose to enroll, for an overall admission yield of 12%.

The gender breakdown held relatively steady between accepted students and those who chose to enroll. 1,321 women enrolled compared to 692 men, for a ratio of 1.91 female students for each male student.

This is a much higher acceptance rate and low yield rate than other private colleges in the area.

For example, Barnard College has an acceptance rate of just 14% and a yield of 55%. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has an acceptance rate of 43% and a yield of 20%.

It’s important for students to look at a school’s acceptance rate and yield because it can help them choose the best schools to apply to.

Schools with high acceptance rates can be suitable schools to apply to as safety schools. However, schools with high admissions rates and low yields may be less prestigious or less rigorous than others.

Some of the most prestigious schools, including the Ivy Leagues, have yield rates higher than 80%.

Pace University (PU), New York City, New York, has 6 colleges situated on 3 campuses. The institution has an acceptance rate of 76%. With more than 100 undergraduate programs, 65 graduate programs, and 7 doctoral degree programs, students can pursue any number of professional callings.

In the US, a majority of the universities incentivize students by helping them earn university credit by taking certain courses in high school. Dual Enrollment (also known as Dual Credit), AP Credit, and CLEP (Credit for Life Experiences) are some of the popular programs that are available for students. However, the policy regarding these credits varies from university to college. These programs have multiple benefits such as a higher GPA, increased chances of finishing the degree, and a shorter time to complete the degree. Students can easily apply for AP and CLEP credits by visiting collegeboard.org and request to submit the scores to the university of their choice.
