Rogers Financial Aid Process
- Rogers State University aims to make the process of attainment of education easier by offering financial aids to the students. Financial aids can be in the form of Grants, Scholarships, student loans, and so on.
- The Free Application for Federal Student Aid or the FAFSA is used to apply for federal student aids.
- Students are required to gather all the documents that are needed to apply for financial aid.

Types of Aid
Grants
Federal Grants - Pell Grants are awarded usually only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or a professional degree and does not have to be repaid.
Federal SCOG - This is solely to provide additional financial assistance to students.
OTAG - Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant is a state-sponsored program designed to help pay tuition costs.
BIA - This grant is made available to Native American students with a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) card.
Scholarships
Scholarships are a type of financial assistance that doesn't require a student to pay back like student loans. There are few requirements that have to be fulfilled by a candidate to receive financial assistance from RSU.
- An applicant must be a U.S. citizen
- A candidate must be an Oklahoma resident
- Maintain a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA in high school (Incoming Freshmen) or college (Current or Transfer students)
- A degree-seeking student
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current award year must be completed
- Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours per semester.
