Sacred Heart University (SHU) is a 4-years private not-for-profit institution that was established in the year 1963 by the Walter W. Curtis. Over the years, the university has grown to become the second largest Catholic university in New England. It is religiously affiliated to Roman Catholic. The campus comprises more than 300 acres of land including a golf course and former global headquarters of General Electric. The university is also branched at Stamford, Griswold (Connecticut).
