Sofia University (SU) is a private for-profit university, located in Palo Alto, California of the United States. The university was formally founded as the California Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in 1975.

The university comprises four schools that include, the Institute of Technology and Engineering, the School of Business, and the School of Transformative Education.
