State Career College follows a simple application and admission process that includes a total of 4 steps, which are as follows: Step 1 in the application and admission process: Submitting the application A candidate is first required to apply to the college as part of the admission procedure at State Career College. To apply to the university, interested candidates can either call the college at (847) 693-3838 x103 or do it through online mode to secure admission. Those willing to take admission can also directly visit the university's administration at 2770 W. Grand Avenue, Waukegan, Illinois 60085-5129. Step 2 to the application and admission process: Acceptance by SCC Once an applicant has submitted their form and deposited the enrollment fee, they would be required to submit certain documents, to receive an admission decision. For State Career College, it is suggested that an applicant submits the following documents:
Essay: Sometimes known as the personal statement, the essay submitted by an applicant offers them a unique way to showcase their achievements and personality. It is advised that applicants include personal experiences and anecdotes.
Transcripts: Submitting the necessary high-school and college transcripts is an important part of the evaluation process. An applicant can use Parchment (or similar platforms) to submit the same.
Official Test Scores: It is not a mandatory requirement and not all students submit their ACT and SAT scores. However, by submitting these official scores, a candidate can make a stronger claim for securing a seat at State Career College. However, additional documents or information may be requested once the applications are reviewed. Step 3 involves confirmation of attendance As part of the Step 3 in the admission process, the candidates must confirm their attendance to State Career College. They will also be required to select their housing as well as complete their Financial Check-In process.
