The establishment of the Chicago School was in the year 1979. The initiative of setting up the school was taken by a group of psychologists and educators with a commitment to advancing in the field and provide professional training to the students. The Chicago School expanded in with the passage of time reaching new localities eventually. With the expansion The Chicago School Los Angeles Campus was set up in the summer of 2008, followed by the opening of two more campuses in Southern California. After this the California Graduate Institute: one located in L.A.’s Westwood neighborhood and the other in Irvine, Calif gets acquired by the Chicago School. There was the opening of a campus in the national capital also in the fall of 2010.
