Scholarships
University of Delaware offers quite a good number of scholarships to their students which are both merit-based and need-based.

Endowed scholarship is another kind of scholarship provided by the university from its endowment funds which is donated by the alumni and the community members. This scholarship amount is $2,000 per year.
Students who opt to major in music are offered the Music Scholarships. This scholarship is also received by students who participate in the Fightin’ Blue Hen Marching Band. The Athletic Scholarship is given by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics Grants. The amount for this scholarship varies and its recipients are chosen on the basis of athletic performance.
The ROTC Scholarships are made available to both the enrolled and non-enrolled students seeking an admission in this university.
In order to encourage students to undertake global studies, the university also provides Study Abroad Need-based Scholarships.
Grants
The different grants provided by the university are as follows:
University Grants will be given to the enrolled students who will also be notified about them. One of them is the UD Blue Hen Success Grant which is awarded to the students in case of special financial needs.
The Federal PELL Grant is awarded on the basis of the Expected Family Contribution (EFC). The Federal SEOG funds are provided on a first come first serve basis to eligible undergraduate students.
