University of Iillinois at Chicago is known for providing excellent education and research opportunities to its students. With an acceptance rate of 74%, the university seems to be quite open with its selection process. If you would like to be one of the 74% of the applicants who get in, there are some steps that you definitely need to pass, first of which is the application process.
Undergraduate Application
Register
The first step to apply for UIC is to register to fill the common application. You will also have to decide on whether you would like to apply with the early action pathway or the regular action pathway
Fill the Application Form
The next step after registration is to fill the application form. For that you will be required to fill out some specific questions and essays for UIC under the "My College" tab in the common application form.
Submit Application Fee
Once you have filled the application form, you are required to submit the non-refundable application fee of $60 or fee waiver. You are also required to send your SAT/ACT scores and highschool transcrpits to the officials after that.
Graduate Application
Register
The first step to applying for graduate and professional courses is for you to register to fill their online application form
Submit Transcripts
You will be required to submit transcripts for 60 semester credit hours that led to your first baccalaureate degree, as well as, transcripts for all post baccalaureate courses
Supplemental Documents
You might be required to submit supplemental documents which will vary from course to course. Some exampes of such documents are curriculum vitae, letters of recommendation, the GRE scores, statement of purpose and so on.
Submit Application Fee
The last step is to submit the non-refundable application fee of $70 or fee waiver.
