About the Scholarship

U.S. undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full time in an accounting-related program of study are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must plan to pursue CPA licensure. Application requirements for the AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship are:Application form

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be accepted to or enrolled in a public or private, not-for-profit (501(c)) four-year college or university located in the U.S. states or territories for the full 2017-2018 academic year; the business program must be accredited by the AACSB and/or ACBSP (exceptions may be granted but are not guaranteed). Undergraduate students must have completed 30 or more semester hours of college coursework, including 6 or more semester hours in accounting, by the end of spring 2017. Must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 or more semester hours if an undergraduate student, and 9 or more semester hours if a graduate student) for the 2017-2018 academic year. An exception may be granted if the student plans to participate in an internship. Must have an overall and major grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (green card holder). Must be pursuing an undergraduate- or graduate-level degree in an accounting-related major (as determined by AICPA).
