Eligibility Criteria
This award is for international and U.S. students. Must be a citizen of the U.S. or Canada. Must major in welding engineering or engineering technology degree. Priority will be given to welding engineering students interested in pursuing a career with an industrial gas or welding equipment distributor. Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent at time of application. The applicant must be enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university to apply for this undergraduate award. Must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in engineering courses. Must be 18 years of age or older at time of application. Must be a full-time student as defined by the applicant's academic institution. Priority will be given to those individuals residing or attending school in the states of Alabama, Georgia or Florida.
