About the Scholarship

U.S. college sophomores or juniors enrolled in an mechanical engineering or related program are eligible for this award. Preference will be given to students who are interested in power engineering and/or who reside or attend school in the American Electric Power service area of Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be a college junior or senior in the upcoming academic year. Must be enrolled in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology studies. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate an interest in power engineering. Preference will be given to students who reside OR attend school in the American Electric Power service area of Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
