About the Scholarship

This Fund was set up to support educational opportunities for American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian students. Scholarships of up to $2,000 per year are paid directly to a recipient’s college/university. Grantees must maintain a grade point average of at least 2.0 and submit grades to AIEF each semester. Eligibility Criteria

Must be of Native American or Alaska Native descent. The student or one parent must be enrolled in a tribe and have documentation. Must enroll as a full-time student. Preference given to students with an ACT score of 14 or higher (or the SAT equivalent). Preference is given to students with a grade point average of 2.0 to 3.4; however, all qualified students are encouraged to apply. This award is for U.S. students. Must be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate student. Students must attend an accredited two- or four-year college/university or technical/vocational school.
