About the Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. and international undergraduate students that have a parent or legal guardian who was a uniformed services member and died in active service. Students must attend an accredited college or university full-time during the following school year and be under the age of 24. If the applicant served in a uniformed service before completing college, his/her maximum age for eligibility will be increased by the number of years he/she served, for a maximum of five years. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international and U.S. students. Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate award. Please note: This award is for students seeking their first bachelor's degree. Must be the child or legal dependent of a uniformed services member (officers, enlisted personnel, National Guard members, and reservists). The student must have a parent or legal guardian who was a uniformed services member (officers, enlisted personnel, National Guard members, and reservists) and died in active service.
