Eligibility Criteria
This award is for international and U.S. students. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Must be enrolled full time. Must pursue a degree in engineering. Students must be enrolled in an engineering program that is accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). For more information on ABET-accredited programs, the student should visit www.abet.org . Must plan to work in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R) profession. Must attend a school in the geographic boundaries of ASHRAE's Region VIII (Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma or Texas). Please note: Parts of Texas and Louisiana are not within the geographic boundaries of Region VIII.
