About the Scholarship

This scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are members of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). Students must be studying mechnical engineering or a related field and have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher. Application requirements for the ASME/SHPE Scholarship are:Application form Official Transcript Essay Recommendation letters (1-2)

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be a college sophomore, junior, or senior, or graduate student in the upcoming academic year. Must be enrolled full time. Must be a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Must be a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). Must be enrolled in a mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or related baccalaureate or graduate program.
