About the Scholarship
High school seniors graduating from Albuquerque High School in New Mexico who have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must enroll in a STEM major and demonstrate financial need. Application requirements for the Barnes W. Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must be a graduating high school senior to apply for this freshman year award. Must have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher. Must graduate from Albuquerque High School in New Mexico. Must pursue a bachelors degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) major. Priority will be given to those pursuing engineering-related careers.
