This award is available for permanent residents of Maryland with an interest in a teaching career. Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in the liberal arts, sciences or mathematics and be pursuing a master's degree in education. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must be a permanent resident of Maryland. Must be a college graduate or current college senior planning to receive a degree in one of the following areas: liberal arts, sciences or mathematics. Must plan to enroll in a master's program in teacher education in the fall. Must take a minimum of six credits per semester. Must be a graduate student to apply for this award.
