About the Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. high school seniors or adult students entering their freshman year as first-time students and are residents of the Connecticut Community Foundation's 21-town service area. Students must be planning to attend a college/university in the southeastern United States and have a grade point average of B- or higher. Application requirements for the Darrell S. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must attend or plan to attend a college or university in the southeastern United States. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. Must have a grade point average of B- or higher. Must be a high school senior OR an adult student entering his/her freshman year as a first-time college student. Must be a resident of one of the following Connecticut cities: Beacon Falls, Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Cheshire, Goshen, Litchfield, Middlebury, Morris, Naugatuck, New Milford, Oxford, Prospect, Roxbury, Southbury, Thomaston, Warren, Washington, Waterbury, Watertown, Wolcott, or Woodbury.
