About the Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. high school seniors or adult students entering their freshman year of college who reside in the 21-town service area of the Connecticut Community Foundation. Students must pursue a career in teaching learning disabled children and have a grade point average of B- or higher. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a high school senior OR an adult student entering his/her freshman year as a first-time college student. Must be a resident of one of the following Connecticut cities: Beacon Falls, Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Cheshire, Goshen, Litchfield, Middlebury, Morris, Naugatuck, New Milford, Oxford, Prospect, Roxbury, Southbury, Thomaston, Warren, Washington, Waterbury, Watertown, Wolcott or Woodbury. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. Must pursue a career in teaching learning-disabled children.
