About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for U.S. undergraduate students of Asian or Pacific Islander descent who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, and are involved in the GLBT community. Students must demonstrate financial need, have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and graduate from a high school in one of the following counties in California: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma, San Francisco, and San Mateo. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be of Asian or Pacific Islander descent (at least 25 percent Asian/Pacific Islander ancestry). Must self-identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender (GLBT). Must graduate from a high school in one of the following counties in California: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma, San Francisco, and San Mateo. Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate and graduate award. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must be between the ages of 17 and 25 at the time of application. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. Must be involved in the GLBT community.
