About the Scholarship

For the past 20 years, First Responders Children’s Foundation has awarded college scholarships to children of first responders. If you’re the child of a first responder, please submit an application to be considered for one of the First Responders Children’s Foundation scholarships. The First Responders Children's Foundation - Victoria Ovis Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a child of a law enforcement officer who was killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty. Eligibility Criteria

Must be a U.S. Citizen. Applicant must be pursuing a bachelor’s, associate’s, certificate, graduate or law degree at any accredited college, university or technical/vocational institution in the United States that participates in the federal financial aid programs offered through the U.S. Department of Education.
