About the Scholarship

The Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholarship Program provides full scholarships for a four year course of study toward a bachelor’s degree for up to eleven exceptionally able students annually from several Asian countries Application requirements for the Freeman Asian Scholars Program are:No application requirements for this scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international students. Must attend or plan to attend Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Must have completed secondary schooling (high school) by the time the academic term starts in late August. Must be a citizen or permanent resident from one of these countries or regions: China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, or Vietnam. Preference will be given to those currently living in one of these eleven countries or regions and to those who would otherwise be unable to study in the United States. *Note: Dual U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States are not eligible for this scholarship.
