About the Scholarship
Current college sophomores, juniors, and seniors attending a four-year college or university who are California residents and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must be of Portuguese descent and interested or involved in the Portuguese-American community. Students must also have taken or plan to enroll in a Portuguese language course. Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must be of Portuguese descent and be actively involved in the Portuguese-American community. The student must also have taken or plan to enroll in a Portuguese language course. Must be a California resident. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
