About the Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. nursing students who are residents of Kansas and attend a college or university in Kansas. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The scholarship committee shall consider the following priorities in making scholarship recommendations to the board of trustees: Graduate and postgraduate nursing study; registered nurses pursing undergraduate degree in a formal nursing program or advanced nurse practitioner program. Eligibility Criteria

Must be a high school graduate or older at time of application. Must attend a college or university in Kansas. Must be a resident of Kansas. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must enroll for six hours or more per semester. Preference will be given to full-time students. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must pursue a career in nursing.
